Hey, it’s Julia. Check out the stuff below to learn more about the process of this blog.
Why Did I Start The Blog?

I have had many people come up to me, or message me, saying that I should share about my experiences. Even at the age of nineteen, I’ve had many cool experiences. These include living in Mexico and doing ministry work down here. I want you guys to know about what I am doing while I am in Mexico, and possibly when I travel to more places around the world.
My heart is traveling, exploring, and adventuring to new places, both in the physical and even my mind. I want a place to express and share my journey–both the places I go and revelations I have.
Also, something that’s important to me is God, and I want to share His heart through the things He has shown me in my life as of now. Living in Mexico has opened my eyes to more of His love–being able to learn to love others unconditionally, learning how much of a father He is, and seeing miracles in places that seem impossible!

The Mission
The Mission (also called Rancho de Sus Ninos) is where I live. This place started out as an orphanage, but in the 30 years it has existed, it has become so much more. It’s also a church, a school for elementary, middle, and high school, and a School of Mission (which is what I am doing at the Mission).
In the mission school, there are also ministries that the students and others work hard in. These include Trailer Ministry, Community Outreach, Jovenes, and Kids’ Ministry. The ministries are an important part of the School of Missions, because not only does it affect the students, but it takes them out into the field to share the Love of God.
For example, in Community Outreach, we travel to one of the places in Tijuana (like Villas del Campo, or Antorcha), and we go house-to-house to talk with people, collect garbage for free (because it costs a LOT of money to get your garbage taken away here). We pray for the people as well, and have also seen many healings and people being brought to Jesus. This is also my favorite ministry. I love connecting heart-to-heart with people.
Goals for the Future
I won’t lie–I don’t have incredibly detailed plans for the entire future of my life. But for my life now, I desire to stay in The Mission. There are three years of the School of Missions. I want to do at least a second year of school, and possibly the third year, which is an internship.
For me, tuition for every year is about $3,000, and then possibly another $500-$1,000 for food, clothing, supplies, and money for spending on the weekends (because while I am here I do want to enjoy and explore Mexico/California on the weekends). The way I get money (and also supplies) is through donation, so if you would like to know more about donating, you can contact me or you can check out the list of supplies I am in current need of people sending me on a monthly basis.
After School of Missions (or even during), I want to take college classes, and I plan to major in history, government, and/or political science. I am also considering business, languages (like Spanish or German), and writing. And if I don’t enter college right away, I desire to work with Amway Global and earn money and financial freedom.

Who am I?

Hi, I’m Julia.
Not gonna lie, I think I’m amazing. I am currently nineteen years old and I live in Tijuana, Mexico close to the border. I have a heart for God, who has given me impossible dreams and desires I am daring to explore. I am passionate about traveling, and I love connecting with people and learning more about them. I also have a heart for food, and I am taking an interest in trying new things, because for most of my life all I ate was mac & cheese and wouldn’t eat anything else.
I also have a heart for learning. I’m always hungry to try something new in experiences. Right now I am practicing Spanish, and my goal is to be fluent (or mostly fluent) by the end of this year. I am also learning to interact better with people in a way that makes them feel loved by me and by God.
I love the ocean. I love beaches. That is where I feel most at home. Whenever I get an opportunity to see the waters, I take it. Walking and hiking are also things I absolutely love, and I get plenty of both here in Mexico.
And if you ever want to know more, or have any questions about me and my life, you can contact me and I will love to talk with you.
